On September 19, 2019 over 1,000 DC Statehood supporters showed up for the hearing of the Washington DC Admission Act in the House Oversight and Reform Committee. We filled the hearing room, the hallway, two overflow rooms, and an outdoor park to watch the hearing on a big screen provided by the League of Women Voters of the US.
