  1. The Hearing! Come to the Congressional Hearing on DC Statehood, also known as, H.R. 51 – Washington DC Admission Act – on 9/19/19 at the Rayburn House Office Building Room 2154. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. Click here to add your name to the roster of people who are planning to #ShowUp4DC on 9/19!

  2. Tune into the Politics Hour with Kojo Nnamdi on Friday, September 13 from when Bo Shuff discusses the upcoming #DCStatehood Hearing. Show starts at 12pm EST. Tune in on WAMU 88.5 FM or follow along @kojoshow.

  3. The Veterans for Statehood are hosting a Lobby Day in Congress September 12. Let’s join and/or salute our Veterans tomorrow! 

  4. Join Mayor Bowser on Thursday, September 12 at The State Room @6:30 pm at 201 D St NE for the second of her three 51st Festivities for Statehood. Register here.

  5. Not available on Thursday? No problem! You can also join Mayor Bowser and advocates for #DCStatehood at Busboys and Poets in Anacostia – 2029 Martin Luther King Avenue SE – on Monday, September 16 at 6:30 pm. The night will feature music, speakers, and Statehood advocates. Register here.

  6. The DC Statehood Fall Rally, hosted by Living with the Law is happening on Saturday, September 14 at Freedom Plaza from 2pm – 9pm. Join them for speakers, music, and empowerment around #DCStatehood.

  8. Attend the panel on DC Voting Rights at the Congressional Black Caucus on Thursday, September 12 at 1:30pm at the Washington Convention Center hosted by Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton featuring DC Vote's own, Bo Shuff.
